Acts 24:14  But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Acts 9:2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

Acts 19:9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.
Acts 18:26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

Matthew 7:13-14  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 

 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Known of old, as the Followers of the Way.

= The Way which has been  main-streamed out of existance by almost all of christendom.  2 Tim. 3 :1- 7    2 Tim. 4 :1 - 4    2 Thess. 2 :3   Matt. 24 : 4, 5           

= The Way excused as another gospel, though it is the original.  Acts 9: 2  ; 18: 25, 26     Matt. 7 : 14    

= The Way vilified as sign or knowlege seeking, seekers of higher knowledge , though they seek as commanded, waiting patiently for the promise.  Matt. 12 : 38, 39    Deaut. 4 : 29    Jer. 29 :13    1 Peter 1 :13, 14             Heb. 10:35_ 39    1 Peter 3 : 14 - 16   Rom. 5:3- 5    I Tim. 6:11, 12

=The Way Reviled for warning people to seek in the scripture daily to see wether these things be true, to learn the doctrine of Christ, to be watchful and sober , to continue in His word as commanded.    Acts 17 : 11   John 7:16- 18       Rom. 6:17      1 Thes. 5: 6    John 8:31, 32

=The Way Hated by men, who are not led by the Spirit. Rom. 8:9-16    Gal. 5:16- 24

= The Way evil spoken of, for the people of the Way need only one teacher, The Holy Spirit.   John 14 : 26     1 John 2: 27    John 6: 45     Ps.143: 10     Ps. 25: 4- 8

= The Way rebuked because they on The Way bow not to tradition, but tremble at the word of God.   Col. 2 : 8    Mark 7: 4- 9    Luke 11: 38     2 Cor. 10 :5     Heb. 12 :28, 29    1 Pet. 4: 17, 18  Isa.  66 : 2  

                          those of the Way are.

 = Called heretics for believing they can actually know Christ.   That to savingly know Him, or rather to be savingly known by Him.  That He must be to you revealed from Heaven.  John 14:21  Matt 11 :27,  Luke 10 : 22  John 6 :40, Gal. 1:12 - 16     Luke 9 :27   As does Pilgrims Progress so perfectly show in allegory.  How one must have Christ revealed to them.  One named ignorance, was ignorant of this.  As though what Chrisitan and Hope spoke of, was a whim, head knowledge.  Concluding of his own reasoning that his faith was all he needed.

"HOPE. Ask him if ever he had Christ revealed to him from Heaven.

IGNOR. What! you are a man for revelations! I believe that what both you, and all the rest of you, say about that matter, is but the fruit of distracted brains.

HOPE. Why, man! Christ is so hid in God from the natural apprehensions of the flesh,  that He cannot by any man be savingly known, unless God the Father reveals Him to them.

IGNOR. That is your faith, but not mine;  yet mine, I doubt not, is as good as yours, though I have  not in my head so many  whimsies as you.

CHRISTIAN   Give me leave to put in a word. You ought not so slightly to speak of this matter; for this I will boldly affirm, even as my good companion hath done, that no man can know Jesus Christ but by the revelation of the Father (Matt. 11:27); yea, and faith too, by which the soul layeth hold upon Christ, if it be right, must be wrought by the exceeding greatness of His mighty power; the working of which faith, I perceive, poor Ignorance, thou art ignorant of
(1 Cor. 12:3; Eph 1:18, 19). Be awakened then,  see thine own wretchedness, and fly to the Lord  Jesus; and by His righteousness, which is the
righteousness of God, for He Himself is God, thou shalt be delivered from condemnation."   John 10 : 4, 14 , 27   John 17:3     1 John  3 : 14 ; 5 : 13, 20

those of the Way are

=  Deemed unfit for fellowship, because they refuse to respect persons, seeking only the honor that comes from God.   John 5 : 37 - 44    Rom. 2 :11    James 2 :1- 9     1 Peter 1 : 17, 18  

= Called blasphemers for speaking the truth of the Word not the doctrines of men   Matt. 15 :6- 11    Heb 13 : 9- 14    John 6 : 27    Isa. 29 : 13    Titus 1 : 13- 16 

 = Called deceived and deceiving for studying to show themselves approved          2 Timothy 2 : 15   Hebr. 4 : 9- 12    2 Peter 1 ; 10    2  Peter 3 : 14

=  Called followers of a accursed toxic faith, who won't fellowship with others. Even though once the others realize the doctrine those of The Way stands in oposition to the others theology, they will not tolerate there fellowship.  

     A closer look.   2 Corinthians 6:14-18   Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?  15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?  16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,  18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.    

The word above unbelievers is   Apistos,  Pistos is translated as faithful or believe.   But believeing and faithful, are not  separable from the basic source of their existance, TRUTH.    Both the words translated as faithful, faith or believe believing, come from a source word which means to be persuaded, convinced and implies one is  to listen to, obey, yield to, comply with 3) to trust, have confidence, be confident.

So then those who are denying the truth of the scripture.  Are offended at the truth of what Jesus said.  Those who deny that you must obey Jesus Christ to receive eternal life are unbelievers.  Those who are believers should not have fellowship with one who is not an equal.  Whose faith is not established on truth.

Amos 3:3  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

If it is pointed out in scripture, that the elect are scarcely saved, Jesus is the author of eternal salvation to those who obey Him.  That we are to take up our own cross and follow Him, being baptized with Him in the likeness of His death.  Partaking of the cup and baptism he was baptized with, which is being crucified with Him.  The fiery trial, which tries us as gold is tried, the trial of our faith, the chastisement of us to make us sons.    If these things are brought forth in fellowship, in doctrine , in reproof, in teaching, in a door opened by THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, to speak the mystery of Christ.  If they deny these things as truth.   They are they who are ashamed of Jesus and His word, who hearing can't hear to understand, who seeing can't see to perceive truth.  Unless they somehow understand and are converted, then believe.  They are unbelievers.  To be unequally yoked with such, is as mixing oil and water,  salt water and fresh,   bitter water with sweet, leaven with the unleavened.  It is contradiction and a means by which the enemy can find space, do delude a believer.   Rom. 16: 17, 18                     2 Thess. 3: 5- 7 ; 13, 14  What if they refuse to be admonished, warned , exhorted?    Eph. 4:14, 15     Isa. 29:13      Isa. 48: 1, 2   isa. 58 :1- 3    Ezek. 33: 30- 32    Matt. 7: 15     1  Tim. 6 : 3 -5    Titus 3: 4- 11    2 John 1:10, 11

those of the Way are
= Called liars for claiming ritual ,rites and idol worship have no place in the body of Christ.  1 Cor. 10 :6- 7   2 Cor. 6:14 - 17   2 Cor. 7 : 1   Amos 5 : 21- 23                        Isa. 1 : 10- 18   1 Samuel 15: 22   1 Cor. 10 : 14- 22   Heb. 9 :8- 12    Col 2 :16- 18

 = Called deniers of the faith for following precept upon precept and line upon line to correctly divide the word of truth.  2 Tim. 2 :15   1 Tim. 4:12- 16   Luke 12 : 42   John 6: 27   Heb. 11: 8    2 Peter 1 :4- 10      Matt. 6 :33

= Called deniers of Christ because they won't be accountable to those who deem themselves righteous   Ezek. 33 :13   Rom. 10 3 :3  Philipeans 3 : 9

= Called apostates for warning others of a modern gospel with a reward before the obedience.  Because they warn that todays gospel is a battery running on only a positive charge.  Those who warn others to remove from the city of destruction.  Warning others to put off the sleepy drunken dead fruit of the tares planted amongst them.  To run quickly and get oil for their vessel,and avoid those who sell.   That though the gift of life is free, it costs you your life.    Matt 16:24-26             Mark 8:34-38     Mark 10:21- 27    Luke 9 :23-26    Matt 10:37-39     Luke 14 :26 -30         John 12 : 24 - 26     Gal. 2 : 20     Rom. 6: 6, 7    Gal. 5 : 24    Col. 2:11- 12   Mark 10:38 ,39  Mark 14:33 - 39  Matt. 3:11 That there is no salvation without first bearing your own cross.

= Called Godless because they speak in wisdom, with understanding, which comes from above being uncomprehendable to a half hearted soul.                  Ps. 119:2, 10, 34, 58, 69, 145    Prov. 2:1- 10      Prov. 4:5- 9     Eph. 1:17, 18              James 1:5       Rom. 11:33- 35     1 Cor. 2:4- 7

= Hissed at as dividers and bringers of division, for their questioning a doctrine of a name it ,claim it,  salvation,   salvation on demand,   a theology of a saving by a sermon, a prayer of incantation, a prayer unscriptural, salvation by a thing of naught.   Amos 6: 13  Jer. 14: 14, 15   Isa. 29: 21  Those of the Way ,their words are policed by the modern day doctors of the law, the scribes, pharisees, and elders of the people.  To catch them in their words, to goad them til they catch them in one slip.  While the hypocrite slurps at his own tongue preparing his fiery dart.  Who  narrowly look upon them, and fester animosity toward them, while the hypocrite stands in the gate to keep people from entering into salvation, where they won't enter either..       Matt. 10:22    Mark 13:13    Matt. 23: 13    Isa. 29:20, 21     Amos 6:12, 13    Matt. 5:10, 11    Luke 6:22, 23      Isa. 66:4, 5     Matt.10:25     Luke 21:17    John 15:18- 20

= hated because they refuse to stand not in judgment against men,  to stand as the holier than though.  As those who stand in the temple reminding God what good they do , and are not as sinner next to them.  But they seek to  judge correctly between even the most subtle differences between good and evil, according to truth, not against a person.

=  Ignored because they of The Way speak of a way to be followed to obtain salvation.  A baptism by fire, while most only know the baptism of John.  The need for a fiery trial to purge away all that offends   Living by a faith tried and true, that could not possibly be authored by man, but is of the Operation of God.   Matt. 7: 14    Matt.3: 11    1 Pet. 1: 7    1 Pet. 4:12, 13   Ps. 66: 10   Prov. 17: 3    Malachi 3: 3     James 1 :3, 4     Gal. 2:16- 20     Eph. 4: 13         Phil. 3 : 9    James 2: 1     2 Pet. 1: 1    Rev. 2: 13    Rev. 14: 12 

=  Cast aside because they speak of the gift of love.  To know the Love of Christ.  To comprehend and lay hold of with all saints the Love of Christ that passes all knowledge.  Because they know that this Love is the mark of new birth, not conversion  That love is the fruit of righteousness  That love unfeigned fulfils all the law, and is "THE COMMANDMENT".    Though the scripture proves them, they are accused of being accursed by new age and gnostic theology.   Even though these accusers  theology make the King of kings subject to their demands, by naming and claiming, as though they are God.      Who speak with vain repetition, ritual, songs of chanting, and memorized words of men..           who are the new agers?

 Those of the Way have  accusers who can't seem to read the signs of the times.  For all things are coming to pass, concerning the end.  That generation is a deceived generation.  Soon the accusers, the professers will beat, scourge and kill the true believers, THINKING THEY DO GOD A FAVOR   They will persecute them with malice in their hearts, and vengance in their arm,  trying to silence their own restless spirits.  It shall be a witness against them, and a witness to those of the truth.    Rom. 8: 35- 39    Gal. 5: 6     Eph. 3: 16- 19     1 Cor. 13: 1- 13    2 Thes. 3: 5     Rom. 5: 5    rom. 13: 8- 10     1  Cor. 8: 3       Gal. 5: 14     Col. 2: 2, 3      2 Tim. 1: 7    John 17: 26    1 John 3: 1           1 John 4: 7- 12;  16- 21     1 John 5: 11- 13   

John 18:37 Jesus answered ....Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Are these of The Way on the right track, or on the cliff of hell?  
John 14:4-6  And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.  5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?  6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

There is only one Way and we better be sure we are on it.

 The Way to Zion,  The Way of Peace, The New and Living Way,

 The Way Everlasting,  The One Way,  Way of Holiness  ,

 The Way of Understanding,  The Way of Wisdom, 

 The Way into the Holiest

The Way of His Testimonies, Commandments, Statutes, judgments

The Way of His Saints, The Way for the Ransomed to Pass Over

The STRAIGHT WAY,    The NARROW WAY   The WAY OF THE LORD
